SENSITIVE NIGHT BALM
Night face balm for sensitive skin

Emulsifiers, co-emulsifiers, and emollients of plant origin to create emulsions with a soft, melting, and comfortable texture, very well tolerated by sensitive, dry, and dehydrated skin.

Brassica campestris (Canola) phytosterol complex and Cetearyl alcohol: a plant biomimetic active compound, structurally similar to cholesterol, that offers a soothing effect on the skin (in vitro tested anti-inflammatory). The lipids and structural elements of the stratum corneum provide a physical barrier. The microbiotic barrier is made up of microorganisms present on the skin's surface, but also in the deeper layers. Both help to defend us against the growth of pathogens. However, both the physical and microbiotic barriers are subject to damage from environmental impacts. The phytosterol and fatty alcohol complex accelerates the recovery of the skin's barrier function. It supports a healthy microflora, increases hydration, helps to accelerate skin repair while also reducing the side effects of exogenous aggressions such as itching, tingling, and burning.

Composed of Lonicera japonica (Japanese Honeysuckle), Cyperus Rotundus (Nutgrass) Xiang Fu), fruit of Xanthium sibiricum (lesser burdock in Italian Cang Er Zi): it is an extract obtained from these three plants known for centuries in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The synergistic combination of these three ingredients has been designed to treat sensitive and easily irritated skin. Efficacy tests conducted in vivo have shown that it actively prevents skin aging. It improves hydration, soothes irritation. Thanks to its analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties, it strengthens the skin's self-defense system against dehydration, oxidative stress, as well as degradation of the extracellular matrix, thus preventing premature skin aging.

Pantheol, Glycyrrhizic Acid, Allantoin, Olive Oil,  Copaiba,  Palmitoyl Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein:  Soothing and anti-redness complex, rich in sesquiterpenes, diterpenes, and terpenic acids that have anti-inflammatory properties and facilitate the healing process. Active lipo-peptide recipe balanced with panthenol, glycyrrhizic acid, copaiba, panthenol, allantoin, specifically designed to provide maximum relief to reddened skin. It has nourishing, smoothing, and emollient properties. Leaves the skin smooth, maintaining the hydrolipidic balance and providing a nourishing and regenerating effect. It is a useful support for dermatological therapies based on cortisone, antifungals, and antihistamines or whenever a specific irritation, itching, dermatitis (atopic, contact, seborrheic) occurs. Provides a feeling of well-being and relief in cases of dry skin (xerosis), flaking, cracking, sunburn, or exposure to ionizing radiation. Reduces itching associated with sensitive skin.

Shea Butter hydrates, regenerates, and protects the skin. Rich in vitamins A and D to revitalize, vitamin E for reoxygenation, and vitamin F for skin elasticity.

Cocoa Butter: nutrient and protective thanks to its composition of fatty acids, it also contains polyphenols that counteract free radicals, Vitamin E, a natural antioxidant, phytosterols with repairing and anti-inflammatory action, and squalene, one of the most important components of sebum that keeps the outermost layer of the epidermis hydrated by slowing down water evaporation.

Borage oil: thanks to its high content of gamma-linolenic acid, it improves the barrier function of the skin and repairs the flaws in the protective mechanism of the epidermis.

Sunflower seed oil: rich in fatty acids, arginine, potassium, minerals, and vitamins. Specific components of sunflower oil provide the skin with valuable restorative substances such as phytosterols, tocopherols, and squalene. The polyphenols from sunflower extract neutralize free radicals activated by light and UV rays. Hydrates and regenerates.

Lotus Root Extract: it is rich in phytonutrients, minerals, including especially copper, iron, zinc, magnesium, and manganese, and vitamins. One of the most important nutrients present significantly in Lotus root is certainly vitamin C, a powerful antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals and has been shown to improve the health of skin, hair, and eyes. The presence of vitamin A, which can accelerate wound healing and treat conditions of dry skin and inflammation, should not be underestimated.

Ginkgo biloba extract: anti-inflammatory and excellent for neutralizing skin conditions such as sensitivity, rosacea, acne, and eczema. The balancing action on melanin of Ginkgo makes it an interesting ingredient in cases of hyper or hypopigmentation. The anti-aging effect on fibroblasts improves the softness and natural firmness of the skin.

Aloe Extract: thanks to its richness in mucopolysaccharides, Aloe vera has a great ability to retain water and is therefore a very effective remedy for treating dehydrated skin. Hypoallergenic, soothing, anti-inflammatory, it is suitable for atopic and sensitive skin.

Chamomile Extract: anti-redness, soothing, and decongestant properties. It stimulates the functionality of the microcirculation and the activity of fibroblasts and promotes the synthesis of collagen, elastic fibers, and hyaluronic acid, thus facilitating the repair of the epidermis and dermis.

Echinacea Extract: the extract is obtained from the root of Echinacea angustifolia. Due to its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties, it is used in the treatment of sensitive and irritable skin.

For sensitive, delicate, or prone to redness skin

Use: after thoroughly cleansing and toning the skin, apply to the face and neck, gently massaging until fully absorbed.
